The Great Holiday Giveaway

I once considered myself a pet person and not a kids person, but this all shifted once I actually had my own child.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m still completely obsessed with animals, but I am suddenly a kid person too.  This has become more apparent as I receive my friends’ Christmas cards this year.  Now when I get one with I children and I think, “That baby is so cute.”  Instead of, “Another boring baby card?” Sorry to anyone who previously sent me their holiday cards with their beautiful, smiling children on them. I’m trying to be honest, and now I enjoy receiving every single one of them.

With that said, I still really love a great pet holiday card.  You know the one? Not your super cheesy, I made my pet sit with a scary guy dressed as Santa, so my dog looks petrified, card (I have done this to my dog), but the ones that show the animal in their true colors. If you throw a cute kid in there too, you get double points from me.
